Kagome's Savior

Kagome was moderately stunned by the posion Mukotsu used on her and she noticed that he had a jewel shard in his neck. So, she did the only thing she could of done, take something sharp and stab it into his neck. This pisses Mukotsu off and he tries to kill Kagome after that, saying that she hates him because he's ugly. Miroku and Sango can't do anything about is because they are fully paralysed by the poison, and Inuyasha is off somewhere fighting Jakotsu. That's a whole different story, it's hillarious. Anyway, this is probably when Kagome thinks she's a goner, when a green flash of light hits Mukotsu, which makes him release his grip on her. Kagome looks to see who it is, and it's Sesshoumaru?! After Sess kills Mukotsu, Inuyasha comes back, because Shippou told Inuyasha that Kagome and the others were in trouble, he finds Sesshoumaru there and thinks it's him that injured them all. Kagome corrects Inuyasha saying Sesshoumaru saved them them all. Sesshoumaru says that he didn't "save" them, he was only taking care of something that was interupting his conversation and that he was looking for Kohaku. Even if Sess didn't intentionally save Kagome, he went through all the trouble (well, it actually took him like a few minutes) to kill Mukotsu. Truely, Mukotsu wasn't really in the way, he was just in the direction of the scent of Kohaku. Sess says he doesn't help anything, but he also told Kagome to give Tetsusaiga to Inuyasha when he was in his demon form, saved Rin from Naraku, and even helped a friend of Shippou's. I think sess has grown a soft spot for inuyasha you know brotherly love. And comes to aid his friends when he can.

i think that over the series (starting with sesshomaru saving Rin) that Sesshomaru's heart is starting to "melt". He really hasn't picked a fight with Inuyasha for awhile, saving rin and the fact that he's kept her around! plus when she's in trouble he gets all worried and has to save her! Who knows, maybe Sesshomaru will allow Rin to call him Fluffy-sama. lol ^^-

I think that InuYasha and Sesshoumaru are alike in the sense that they help people even though it seems like they don't want to.

I think that Sesshy puts up this cool and calm exterior but he does have a kind heart inside like his father for humans. I think he doesn't want to show it because of his reputation as a powerful lord. Also, I think Sesshy's actually helping his brother, he's just doing it in a very strange way. He sort of 'took' Inuyasha to their father's grave to get the sword, and he showed Inuyasha the Windscar (Tetsusaiga's ultimate power). He was also the one who told the gang about Tetsusaiga keeping Inu's demon blood in check.

I think after Rin, Shesshy has gotton a protective side to mortals. It's obvious that he cares for Rin, and somewhat Inuyasha. Sure Riveraly is something, but chances are Shesshy will help Inuyasha at one point.

I think that Sesshoumaru has a different way of experssing things. ^_^ Even if Sess and Inuyasha are different, they both help humans in their own way.

Sesshomaru's just trying the 'Bad Ass Bishie' thing so the others don't discover his 'fluffier' side. When it comes right down to action over talk, he's just as soft as his tail. Or maybe it's just his bad luck?

It's a simple matter of Sesshoumaru being a good brother in his own way. As you can tell, he's not as intent on killing his half- brother, and has slowly grown to be more and more caring. However, he is still a prideful person, so he remains emotionless (as emotions can be irrational and make people act foolish) and is sure to have alternative reasons for his actions. He IS an intelligent warrior, after all. Also, he sees the difference between good and evil, knows that his brother is not the real enemy (allowing him to set aside any petty family issues), and that Naraku must be stopped - he's just going to do it all in his own badass, loner way.

I don't think that Sess actually hates Inu. I think that he just wants the sword, and dislikes the fact that it was given to Inu instead of him.

I think that Kagome reminds Sessomaru of Rin and that he loves Rin like a Brother or a Father and thats why he is nicer to Inu Yasha and Kagome

I think Sesshomaru likes his brother, and his friends (he probably does want to befriend them, but doesn't know how to without feeling the shame of " I'm being to nice, nice isn't good, and this is really embarassing. This isn't like me" I think he's starting to show his love for his brother, and his heart is opening to the humans around him. All thanks to Rin !^_^

I think a lot of people will agree that this 'soft spot' became apparent after Rin joined him. I can't remember which episode it is, but when Rin gets kidnapped and then Kohaku tries to kill her? Yeah. Sesshomaru got soooo mad. Then, when Rin and Jaken are on the bridge and that guy crashes thru it, causing it to break apart. Rin fell. Sesshomaru stopped mid-fight to jump down the mountain side to rescue her, only to find that "the river is carrying away her scent." OR! Sara! "The Women Who Loved Sesshomaru 1-2." Who can forget his last line about Sara still playing her flute for him, if she wishes? I'm rambling, yes, I know. My apologies. But, one more notation. That episode where Naraku has Rin and Sesshomaru starts to transform... but Naraku says something about "your human girl" and her death. What does he do? He stops transforming and looks concerned. I think our pretty demon here is growing softer. It's cute.
